I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and studied Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. After graduating in 2006, I moved to Seattle and joined Microsoft as a Program Manager.

For two years, I worked in Microsoft Office managing the Customer Experience Improvement Program; an effort to make Microsoft productivity software more secure, reliable, and performant through the analysis of anonymous usage data. After this, I joined the Microsoft Advertising team, where I helped enterprise problems through display advertising.

I'm passionate about designing effective and empowering experiences, and so in June 2014 I completed my part-time master's in Human-Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) at the University of Washington.

I now work with Deloitte Digital as a User Experience Designer in downtown Seattle. I have worked on a variety of projects for iOS, Android and the web in healthcare and retail.

As a graduate of HCDE , I'm very familiar with user-centered design, interaction design, usability testing, experimental design, and HCI research. I also have almost a decade of experience in program/project management, some experience in software development (C++), web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and mobile application design. In general, I like to work in teams and am quick to learn most things software-related.
